Meet Maggie Sima

Maggie Sima is the co-owner of Classic Fences and Decks, a trusted name in fencing and decking solutions in the Portland area. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, Maggie’s journey began in Romania, where she earned an engineering degree. Although her educational background is in engineering, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to partner with Adrian to bring their vision to life.

Founded in 2003, Classic Fences and Decks was born out of a need that Adrian noticed in the Portland area—there was a shortage of high-quality fencing and decking businesses on the east side of the city. Armed with his civil engineering experience, Adrian launched the company to offer customers custom designs that focused on durability, aesthetics, and top-tier materials. Maggie joined him as a co-owner, bringing her expertise and dedication to help build the business from the ground up.

The company’s mission is rooted in Adrian’s desire to create lasting, well-built structures that will stand the test of time. Maggie shares that vision, making sure that every project meets the highest standards. “Think what is next,” she often says, inspiring her team to look ahead and continuously improve.

Beyond business, Maggie is passionate about providing young men with opportunities to develop skills, enabling them to achieve financial independence. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family and fishing—activities that help her maintain balance and focus.
