Vinyl Fence
Vinyl fencing is a low-maintenance option to install. The product is available in a large variety of styles including picket, solid, privacy fencing and horizontal or vertical semi-private fence style. Fence styles include concave or convex fence panels, lattice tops, picket tops or s-curved panels for sloping landscapes. Vinyl arbors and pergolas are also available in vinyl.
What is vinyl fence material?
Early forms of vinyl fencing were polyvinyl chloride, similar to materials in PVC pipe, extruded to look like lumber. Although the product was durable, after being in the sun for a short time, the PVC began to degrade and turn yellow. Now, titanium oxide is added to the PVC's outer layers so the vinyl can have ultraviolet resistance. Titanium oxide is white, so vinyl fences have traditionally been light-colored. However, manufacturers now offer colored vinyl fence materials.
Vinyl fence material is not to be confused with composite fence materials. Whereas vinyl fence material is similar to PVC, composite fence material is made from recycled plastics and wood pieces.
The choices are many. Call us for your Free Estimate to discuss what is right for you.
